Tous Courts fest in France to host ‘Emergency’

Iranian short flick ‘Emergency’ has been selected to compete at the 39th edition of the Tous Courts Film Festival in France.

Directed by Maryam Esmikhani, the short film narrates the story of a little girl who tries to get close to an emergency officer who is visiting her mother.

The girl tries to ask a question to make something that is annoying her clear.

The cast list of the film includes Saeed Changizian, Nazanin Ramezani, Milad Mirzaee, and Elnaz Hassanpour.

‘Emergency’ has previously participated in the 2021 Short Shorts Film Festival in Japan.

Established in 1982, the Tous Court Film Festival hosts international films from around the world.

The upcoming edition of the festival has been scheduled for November 22-December 4, 2021.
